The story behind "Montana Kid"
Where Swagger Meets the Wild 🐂🚛🏔️
It all started on a crisp November day in 2023. Dad handed me the keys to a 1979 International Dump Truck and said, "Don’t mess this up." 😳 Cue the childhood flashbacks and a whole lot of "Oh, shit." But with Rudy, the world’s best co-pilot 🐕, riding shotgun and some classic Montana grit, we got the job done—no issues, no breakdowns, just straight-up badassery. 💪
That day wasn’t just about conquering a gravel pit; it was about embracing what it means to be a Montana Kid. By the end, we were laughing, hollering, and saying, “Montana Kid, Doin’ Montana Shit!™” 🤠 And let me tell you, the ol’ timer laughed his ass off when he saw the video.
The laughs turned into ideas, and before the week was out, we jokingly said let's slap that phrase on a T-shirt. The ol’ timer looked at me and said, “Hell, I’d buy one.” And just like that, Montana Kid was born. 🎉
We started with a simple black-and-white design, paying homage to our roots, and now we’re rocking bold, colorful logos 🎨 with fresh creations always in the works. From hauling dirt 🚜 to wrangling cattle 🐄, or just kicking back with a cold one 🍺, Montana Kid is here for every moment of that rugged, wild, and unapologetically Montana lifestyle.
